Diane V. Nugent, President & CEO. Diane founded Victoria Capital Management to meet the sophisticated needs of high net worth investors. Within a few years, the firm expanded to provide lower-cost solutions for retirement investors and capital-preservation strategies for individuals requiring income. Diane's primary responsibility within the firm is to ensure that the needs of clients are being achieved in a professional, consistent and cost-conscious manner. In addition, Diane manages institutional investment management mandates and contributes to expert witness cases.

Diane has twenty years of investment management experience with retail and institutional firms both in the United States and Europe. Diane can draw upon her business-management experience, with responsibilities that have spanned client-relationship management, equity-research analysis, portfolio management, as well as actually running a business. Diane graduated with an M.B.A. in international finance from the Henley School of Management in England and a B.A. from European University in Switzerland. Diane was editor of the International Mutual Funds Review, an investment newsletter circulated globally.

Thomas E. Nugent, Chief Investment Officer. Tom is responsible for designing the firm's top-down investment framework and asset allocation methodology and participating in meetings of the Investment Committee. Tom is the firm's lead expert witness in cases that the firm assists in resolving. Tom has thirty-seven years of investment management experience.

Tom graduated with an M.B.A. in finance and economics from Rutgers University and a B.S. from Seton Hall University. He has taught economics and investments at both the graduate and undergraduate levels and has had numerous economic papers published. He is a member of the Association for Investment Management and Research, a columnist for National Review Online Financial.
